Management

The role of management is to safeguard the organisation's value creation - which demands clarity, cohesion, and alignment. Yet there are phases when coordination becomes cumbersome, priorities compete, or strategic initiatives lose their momentum.

Energy sector & IT

The energy sector is no ordinary environment. My knowledge goes beyond theory: I entered the industry in 2007 and worked primarily in energy market analysis, power trading, and power plant dispatch planning.

I know the mechanics of the market, the dynamics of trading departments, the demands across front, middle, and back office, and the interplay between generation, grid, trading, sales, and management – in a sector undergoing profound transformation.

I understand the lived reality of employees, leaders, and management alike: strategic adjustments, entrepreneurial and regulatory constraints, pace, pressure, shift work, decision-making under uncertainty, bearing responsibility for riskwhile still being expected to provide direction as a leader.

Beyond day-to-day operations, organisations must drive (digital) transformation, unlock new opportunities, and grow their business areas. All of this demands new forms of organisation and collaboration – within and across functions.

From the outset, my work has been characterised by close collaboration with IT teams. Since 2021, I have deepened my engagement with IT departments, software development and DevOps teams, leading and guiding projects and teams across waterfall, agile, and semi-agile working models.

My strength lies in hands-on experience across diverse roles in the business environment, and in the combination of deep sector knowledge and coaching expertise. I speak the language of the energy industry and IT – while creating the space for reflection, development, movement, and lasting change.
